The genesis of Payefy lies in a high-stakes administrative challenge. In early 2026, Majeed Abdulwali, serving as the Faculty Governor of Computing at FUOYE, was tasked with aggregating GST project fees for institutional reconciliation.
Relying on legacy peer-to-peer transfers and manual screenshot verification revealed a catastrophic systemic vulnerability. The lack of a "Trustless Verification Layer" led to administrative delays and reporting discrepancies caused by manipulated digital records.
Payefy was engineered to solve this. We realized that institutions need more than a traditional bank account; they need a Software System. A system that verifies records in real-time and provides an immutable ledger for students, executives, and university management.
